What would you do if you're on a road trip up in the High Himalayas, at 16,000 feet to be exact and you find, to your horror that the road's been wiped off, simply disappeared?
we had unsung heroes to our rescue in the uniform of the Border Roads who maintain roads in the high altitudes and borders of India.
A JCB was brought up there, a JCB is an earth excavator, earth mover and is a very versatile heavy machinery...promptly they loaded us into the shovel and we were sung across the fiery cold rapid on to the other side.
A small adventure with good friends and heroes to the rescue.
